Solidarity in Qatar: UiWMBC Compassionate Connection with Gaza

18 Oct, Qatar - In line with the current situation in Gaza, Usrah Ibu ibu Wakra, Messaied and Barwa City (UiWMBC) took the initiative to express empathy and beautifully demonstrates support for our brothers and sisters in Palestine, by including a special slots to their weekly studies sessions.

The slots included with a heartfelt absent funeral prayer (solat jenazah ghaib) and the recitation of Qunut Nazilah as well as recitation of related Dua lead by Ustaz at the end of the sessions. They also took pictures ( Wave for Palestine ) while waving the Palestinian flag at the end of the study sessions.

Each weekly session, in addition to its regular content, the committee also suggested members to wear a thematic attire featuring Palestine. Beyond the primary focus on weekly study, members also actively contributed to the uplifting atmosphere with their vibrant participation.

The weekly sessions which held every Wednesday morning, not only aim to fill the time of the members but also seek to gain and enhance knowledge in religious areas such as akidah, tafsir, and the Prophet's sirah. To add, UiWMBC is a weekly religious study sessions organised by a  group of Malaysian Women residing in Wakra, Mesaied and Barwa City, Qatar. The group mostly consist of full time housewives.

It is hoped that through this approach, a sense of empathy and mutual remembrance among members can be cultivated regarding the plight of our Muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza. May this small effort be blessed and accepted by Him. In sya Allah.
